Excellent Preschool! - Natalia C.
JESP is a an excellent preschool. The staff is so friendly and caring. It feels like a family. My daughter is very happy there and I am sending my youngest one to JESP this fall. I am very pleased to see how much they teach the kids there. My almost 4 year old can write her name, read short words, knows days of the week, months of the year... In addition, they do holiday performances, kids art show, etc. JESP welcomes all kids. I highly recommend this school. Exceptional Preschool! - Lisa B. JESP was the best preschool to send our three chilldren. All three are successful students now because they received such a great start at JESP. The teachers are wonderful! There are not enough adjectives to describe them adequately. Our family still keeps in touch with the teachers even though our oldest is in high school now! What a great preschool experience for our entire family. An amazing experience!!! - Peter and Maura E. JESP is an exceptional preschool with teachers who are attentive and loving with all children who attend the school. The student to teacher ratio is low, allowing for a lot of personal attention to each child. The tuition is very affordable, and the families are amazing. We are a non-Jewish family and have been welcomed into the JESP family with open arms. Both of my children attend JESP, and will until they are in Kindergarden. I also have another one the way who will also be attending JESP, when they are old enough. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at JESP, and would recommend it to anyone who asked. They have an extrordinary reputation that is well deserved. The most important thing to me is that my children LOVE going to school. They run down the hall and into the arms of the teachers, who treat them as if they were their own. If you are looking for preschools...do yourself a favor and spend a day at JESP to see what they are all about. You WON'T be disappointed. J.E.S.P. is the Best! - John and Lisa D. Jewish East Suburban Preschool is a wonderful and amazing place!!! We have sent 3 children through their program from ages 2 to pre-Kindergarten. We can not imagine a better environment for pre-school age children regardless of religious background (we are non-Jewish). The staff at J.E.S.P. is incredible. We found them to be a group of loving, caring and highly educated professionals. They were amazing every single day and continue to be positive influences on our children. We highly recommend J.E.S.P. to any parent who is looking for a top notch, world-class pre-school for their child! Paul As a new parent, I was nervous at first about what pre-school to send our daughter. I checked out one other before coming to observe JESP. Within the first five minutes, I was so overwhelmed with a peace and calm about sending our daughter to this school. My wife and I eagerly signed her up. The class rooms are small, the teachers and assistants are all certified. They are the most caring and professional staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and knowing. Everything is so peaceful and fun. The children enjoy their classes, and cannot wait for the next day of class. They really enjoy learning about many important things in life, and they develop a strong sense of being and are always encouraged by the teachers. If they added a kindergarden, my daughter would be attending. You cannot go wrong. They teach about life, values, and the children want to listen. After two years, starting our daughter at the age of 3, I am delighted and overwhelmed with all the love they have showed our daughter, and all of their kindness and assistance for myself as a new parent. Thank you very much. |
Great Preschool! - D.C.
JESP has exceeded my expectations of a preschool. The teacher to student ratio is low, so my kids have gotten a lot of attention. The teachers truly care about the students; I can really see that my daughter loves the teachers and they have fun. My three-year-old son has progressed very well socially and verbally. Not only do my children love going to school, but they are learning so much. I am extremely happy with JESP. I am confident that they will be well prepared when they attend kindergarten. Best preschool in Monroeville - R.G. Jewish East Suburban Preschool is an excellent preschool in the Eastern Suburbs of Pittsburgh. They have a strong curriculum, affordable tuition, and outstanding teachers. They incorporate many special programs and really go the extra mile to help your child have a great experience. Both my kids attended JESP, as well as many of my friends' kids, and we all love it! Jewish East Suburban Preschool - K.S. I love this school! The teachers are wonderful. They care about the kids and let you know when they have concerns. My child has been in each of the classes, and my 2nd child will attend as well. He loves all the teachers. He can't wait to get to school. I really couldnt recommend a better place. Low kid to teacher ratio is excellent. Your child receives the extra attention they need. A PreSchool like no other - S.G. JESP has truly been a treasure in our child's life. She looks forward to going and runs into her classroom each and every morning. The teachers treat her as if she is their own child; they are loving kind women who receive gold stars to heaven for the way they care for the kids. She learned so much about practical concepts, holidays, Judiac values concepts and traditions. Bravo JESP....Bravo!!!! Wonderful preschool and family - Staci E. I absolutely love this preschool. We ended up here because I was looking for a preschool with small class sizes and it is outstanding. I visited 3 other preschools in the area and after 1 visit I knew this was the place for my family. The teachers are amazing and all have tons of experience. I have had children in each of the classes and there is nothing I can complain about. When you enroll your child you will inherit the most loving family that genuinely cares about your child's welfare and your family. My children receive lots of personal attention and are academically ahead of where they should be for their ages. WE LOVE JESP!! - S.D. JESP is truly a wonderful and special place. We found JESP through COUNTLESS excellent recommendations from our trusted friends. We probably know over 20 families that have sent their kids to JESP and we have NEVER heard a bad word spoken. Though we are not Jewish, we found that the values and life lessons that are taught there truly cross religious lines. The JESP families are truly a diverse group. No matter what your religion, please consider JESP for your child. We have sent both of our children through JESP and have found it to be a safe and loving environment. JESP has given our children a great educational foundation that has prepared them well for Kindergarten and beyond. The teachers are dedicated and are all highly educated (many have Masters Degrees in Education). The teachers at JESP are very experienced professionals that take a very personal interest in each child and each family. They are always there for us, and provide useful advice regarding our children's education and development. For us, JESP was an easy choice. We had so much favorable information, and knew so many of our close friends who LOVED their experience at JESP. Most importantly, before we were parents ourselves, we experienced the results of the JESP Program FIRST HAND through the children and families that we knew. My advice to parents that are looking into sending their child to JESP is...please ask around... please speak to people who have experienced this most special place... please take the time to meet these teachers... and you will know what we now know. The JESP Program is based on very sound and proven educational principles. In my opinion, there is no better, safer, more loving place for a child to begin to experience the gift of education. |
An essay from a prior JESP student - Meryl G., senior at Gateway High School
Looking back on it now, the time I spent in preschool has greatly influenced my life. When I began preschool at the Jewish East Suburban Preschool (J.E.S.P.) program in Temple David, my mother also began working there as a teacher. I loved my time at the preschool. I remember every morning I would wake up and be so excited to go to school; oh, how that attitude changed. During my time at the preschool, I made lifelong friends; I even met my best friend there when we were in the four’s program. Not only did I make friends with my peers, but I also made friends with the teachers. Most of the teachers I had back then still teach today and continue to work with my mother. I love to visit the school and to see my old teachers; I have grown up with them, and I feel that they are almost a part of my family. I cannot picture my childhood without those teachers; they are some of the sweetest women I know, and I will cherish my memories of my time with them forever.
Preschool not only provided wonderful memories, but it has also presented me many opportunities now. For as long as I can remember, I have worked at the J.E.S.P. Summer Day Camp Program. For four weeks, I teach and interact with the children and get to watch them grow. It is such a wonderful job. Through this opportunity, I have also been offered several babysitting jobs, which I adore doing. Being able to create a special connection with the kids and getting to see them develop is such a site to see! It has truly helped me prepare to be a mother one day.
Without my time at J.E.S.P., some of my favorite memories and even present opportunities may have never occurred. I am forever grateful and fond of my time I spent at preschool.
